A friend of mine throws an annual BBQ with performances by local bands and a killer brisket. This year I brought my Holga film camera and some attachments to try out. I brought my fisheye lens (which I've played with a bit before) and a flash that had some colored gels (first time using it). Below are the experiments, shot with 120mm Kodak Porta at 400 ISO. I focused on taking multiple exposures with flash, long exposures, and experimented with layering the colored gels within a single image. Learned a lot through reviewing the images, and see room for improvement, but had a blast messing around with the new gear. And, as always, had an amazing time at the show! The bands shown are The Litterbugs, Veneer, and Tongue.
