I tend to feel a little rueful as summer makes way to fall; never quite ready to let go of the long, warm, sun-filled days. Yet I feel the chill lingering in the air here in Vermont, and see a few rogue leaves turning yellow, and I know that the seasonal shift is upon us. I have to remind myself annually that my love of autumn is equal to that of summer (and maybe actually has a slight edge), but it’s always begrudgingly that I make room in my heart for it’s arrival. So, I am saying a formal farewell to summer, and sharing some photographs from Asbury Park, NJ from late June of this year. All photos were taken with a Canon AE-1 and expired Kodak GC 400.
